Richard Stark and John Bowman founded Chrome Hearts in 1988 in Los Angeles, crafting leather jackets, accessories, bags and jewelry for the Sex Pistols, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses and more. Today, Chrome Hearts produces nearly all of its pieces at a 250,000-square-foot Hollywood campus and retains a calculated mystique by not selling any of its own jewelry online.
